Materials

  • pocket microscope

Directions

  1. Observe all kinds of things through your microscope. You might start with some of these, but your only limit is your imagination:
    • your skin
    • your friend’s skin (with consent)
    • all kinds of fabric
    • your hair
    • fur shed from a cat or dog
    • different kinds or colors of paper
    • a leaf

Keep Tinkering

  • Take your pocket microscope with you and look at whatever catches your eye, as long as it’s safe and you have consent, if appropriate (Mine is stashed in my purse at all times! -CLH)
