Terrarium
What You Did
You planted a seed inside a jar that you can keep inside and don’t have to water often. Terrariums are tricky to keep, and this is one of the more challenging experiments in the book, and one of the longest too.
Intended Results
Your seed should have sprouted after a couple days, and steadily grown into a plant.
Unintended Results
There are many reasons why your seed may not sprout within 7 days. Too much water, not enough water, or unclean water; the wrong kind of soil or unclean soil; or the seed could be a dud.
Keep Tinkering
Try different kinds of seeds. Try transferring a plant that’s already sprouted and established. Try different mixtures of rocks and soils. Try different kinds of containers
